HELP!! Bf/baby daddy issue

Soooo, my daughter is 6 and will be turning 7 later this month. Her father just got out of jail as he has been incarcerated since the week before her birth. I moved to a diff state and now that he is out he has reached out to me and wants to meet his daughter. He is married now and I am in a relationship. I am all for them meeting and am excited for her because my dad was not in my life so I really want him to be apart of hers.

I have been communicating with his wife about the dates of when they are coming to visit for her birthday and what not. I remember telling my bf about them coming but when I brought it up again yesterday he acted surprised saying that I never told him anything about it.

Long story short.. he thinks I'm still interested in my bd (which I def am not) we weren't ever in a relationship we were only messing around...

How do I let him know that he is the person I want and assure him I am not wanting my bd back?
