Should I go in sooner?

So I am 35 and this is my first pregnancy. I am six weeks one day and I am not scheduled to see my doctor till the 18th.  that apt is a group informational class, they are not even doing a confirmation on pregnancy or ultrasound till October 5th. I have endometriosis and am worried I should not be waiting this long to go in. Anyone else think I should go in sooner???

Many doctors wait until 8 to 10 weeks.  My last pregnancy my doctor waited until I was 8 weeks to confirm and this time I think I will be 9 weeks.  I am seeing them a week before that but they won't do anything like bloodwork or ultrasounds until my next visit.

Most doctors won't see you until 8 weeks. With my son, they bumped my appointment up to 7 weeks because they had an opening. I have an appointment this time around at 8w4d this time. She did a vaginal ultrasound and they tested my urine the first time, I assume she will do the same this time. I also had a boatload of blood work done the first time. I probably will get blood work done this time around, just not as much since genetic testing doesn't need to be redone, and she did a blood panel just 2 months ago at my 6 month PP visit.

Should I go in sooner?
