Chances of getting pregnant with tubes tied

Is it possible for me to conceive with my tubes tied? Me and my boyfriend want a baby but my tubes are tied. A friend of mine had hers tied and still had a healthy baby. Is it worth trying? Or am I getting my hopes up for nothing. I can't afford to get them untied. I only got them tied because I had 3 with my husband but he passed away and now my boyfriend of 2 years and I want a baby together.
