Ovulation test help!

Need some help ladies. This is my first month to use these particular test strips and it seems simple enough but needed some input.

We've been trying for a year and a half. I've done 7 rounds of clomid and this is my second round of Femara. If this isn't the month. Then we are doing IUI next month. So I'm hoping for a positive of course but if not I wanted to make sure I knew around about time I ovulated.

Both this app and another say I ovulate today. However the strip is clearly negative.

The instructions say to test in afternoon/evening but I tried one morning just to see. Could anyone tell me what day I could have possibly ovulated or if I did at all? May need to zoom.
