DAYCARE MOMS ... any Advice ??

Hey My LO will be starting Daycare on the 18th 😊🤗 we toured today and he was acting a little shy ☺️. Smiling and hiding his face lol . But I was just wondering how you ladies Like it .. I have high anxiety about leaving him with ppl other then his grandmas. They have been watching him since 6 weeks old . As me and his dad. Both work Mon-Fri 8-330 ... but any advice on the parent end ? Does your LO seem to like it? Did they cry the first time ?

My daughter has been in daycare since she was 10 weeks old and loves it.  People say babies don't "play" together, but I disagree after watching the nursery dynamics.  They steal each other's socks and paci's, laugh and yell, and my daughter even sits on her "boyfriend" when he takes her toys.  She loves all her teachers, and I honestly think it enriches her developmental experience.  I can't be "on" all the time if that makes sense - let's just say we watched a lot of TV during maternity leave (and I hated it although I did have severe PPD).  The negatives are that it will tear your heart out to leave your baby, and he will get sick A LOT at first.  Both of these things will get netter but never fully go away.  Stock up on cold supplies now. 😉

My son LOVES daycare! He started going there when he was about 12 weeks old (short maternity leave 😢) and it was such an easy transition. I thought I would lose it leaving him with his caregivers, but he did awesome and took to them right away. Even now that he is eight months old, he still smiles and laughs when we walk into the room and he sees his caregivers. We get updates on him via an app during the day each day and quarterly "report cards" explaining how he is doing with milestones and how he is developing. I was hesitant on having someone other than family watching him, but seeing how he took to them and how he lit up whenever he saw them from that first day on made me much more at ease. I love his daycare!

My son just start d daycare last month and he LOVES it! He get so excited every morning when we get there and he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. Our daycare has an app and I get updates all day which I love. The biggest downside is he has a permanent runny nose now.
