3 weeks postpartum and rebuilding supply
I gave up after the first week from pumping every 2 hours and not producing very much. Little guy had jaundice and needed more then I could give him so I felt discouraged and gave up. I tried pumping since he wasn't drawing enough milk from me and that got really exhausting pumping and feeding every 2 hours and I still wasn't producing enough for him. Well, I have felt guilty for the last week and so yesterday I decided to give it another try even though my milk supply is only about 6ml every time I pump combined. I am trying mothers milk tea, oatmeal cookies, Bobbie bars...and now a warm bath which I will pump after this to see if there is a difference. I hope my supply can start building up. I feel like I'm fighting the wind since I gave up which made it almost completely go away and I have pcos which decreases my milk supply anyway. Any tips and tricks would be great! I know I have a long road of rebuilding ahead of me. Pray I don't give up so easily this time.
