Can I just say this to my coworker?

I work in a school and teachers/teacher assistants are literally the rudest people. I'm a teacher I can say it. This TA says to me "oh you're having another one?" And I'm like "no. Haven't lost the weight from the first yet" and she stares me up and down. Can I just explain to her that you NEVER ask someone that question because a) they may have miscarried b) they may have fertility problems and c) for medical reasons can't lose the weight and it's a touchy subject to most.

What I really wanted to say is "no but are YOU?"
