Can hypothyroid cause follicles on ovaries?

Just got my period! Birth control fucked me up when I stopped mid pack and my period was normal febuary-March then light spotting now actual period! Was told my ovaries have PCOS look, and I was wondering if thyroid can cause follicles, my hormones and testosterone is normal

I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism since I'm 13. I'm now 30. I've never had PCOS. I use to have extremely heavy and irregular periods, though. I had a tubal and ablation and since then I haven't had a period. I know the thyroid being irregular can do some strange things to our bodies. The best thing would be to ask your doctors to test everything. I'm wondering if my headaches are related to my thyroid since no specialist can properly diagnose or treat me. I'm in a new state now so hopefully the care will be better. Anyways, don't wanna get off topic. But thyroids can be difficult.

I have had hypothyroid disease for almost 11 years and don't have pcos. But i again have never thought about a correlation between the two.
