How did you accept that you may never have children of your own?

Having a hard time grasping it. I just want to live in peace.

I don't have advice but wanted to let you know you aren't alone. In my head I know if I can accept that and move forward with my life it'll be easier and I'll be happier but I can't bring myself to accept it. I'm still paying for fertility treatments that I know in my heart well never work. I've been struggling with infertility for 6 years and trying to accept it for 2. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully we both get pregnant and don't need to accept anything!

Going through that as well. I think once you have a baby though, you have no trouble seeing it as your own. I have talked to people who have adopted or used a donor and they say they wouldn't have changed it for the world

I haven't accepted that yet. I'm currently torn between thinking "if this cycle fails I cannot go through it all again" and "if this cycle fails I have to try again."  My husband and I have considered fostering/adopting, so that gives me some hope.
