My daughter is 5..

We have many things in common like we suck at waking up in the morning and we hate spiders.

This morning she wakes me up for school (hers not mine lol) at 6:20. It's still dark out but she's like mommy mommy get up.

She's surprisingly in a good mood. All the lights are off in the house but I stumble out with my phone.

I open my door and see a spider and scream and run my ass off. She planted a fake spider outside my door. She's cracking up like with tears. I walk towards the kitchen to turn the light on. I see another one and scream. In my mind no way she would prank me twice.

Well she did. She's laughing hysterically at this point.

She left her toothbrush in my bathroom so I tell her crazy funny self to go brush her teeth and get ready. She's laughing so hard and she's barely paying attention to where she's walking. She sees the spider she planted by my door and screams at the top of her lungs and runs crying. She forgot it was there and scared herself. 🤗😂😂😭😭

Hilarious Update:

I am in the Army so I was gone this whole week for work and she stood with my mom at her house but they checked on mine while I was gone.

I came back today and when I picked her up she says "Grandma helped me buy a fake rat and more spiders but I forgot where I put them and I don't wanna scare myself again. can you please help me find them?" 😂😂😂 Nope. Karma. Just kidding I found them all. 🙄

Thank you for all the compliments! Didn't expect her story to get this much love. I told her everyone thinks she's beautiful and she said I know. So I am clearly going to work on humbling her 😂😂😂. That's what I get for showing her the importance of confidence.
