When your stomach does this does it mean you're having a contraction? I thought my boy was stretching...

As you can probably tell he was already sticking out before the contraction. What made it more visible was the uterus moving forward. When u feel uncomfortable , hard to breathe, baby's position is more visible, your tummy is hard all over, that's a Braxton hicks contraction. I'm told a real contraction will be this + a 6 or a 7 on a pain scale.

That is what mine look like! It depends on which way the baby is shifted, sometimes one side is bigger than the other. I've been having them every 15 min since at least Tues, and was dilated to a 3 then...

If it's one sided I'd say it's baby contractions is your whole stomach at once

Thanks for all the input ladies! I've been having it happen more and more lately and I am 37w2d. They don't really hurt .. it's just uncomfortable so odds are it's just BH.

Mine does that when I'm on my back I think it's the baby getting uncomfortable but I'm also paranoid about that lol

it could be braxton hicks. mine does this when i have them.
