I go back to school in October and I have an 8 week old baby. I'm completely heartbroken to be leaving her for 6 hours Monday-Thursday (we are inseparable) but I know it'll be for the best in the long run. I'm completely stressed out. I live In California so I applied for Calworks in which they can help pay for childcare so someone can watch my daughter while I go to school.. but since my boyfriend makes a little over what the maximum income requirement is, we didn't qualify. Now I cannot hire anyone to watch her because we really do not have the extra money to spend on childcare. I really needed that help from the government :( I might have to postpone school ( in which I already signed contracts for & whatnot) and just continue being a stay at home mom. I'm heartbroken..

I'm 18 and really looked forward to starting college asap. I'm not even sure why calworks needed to include his income when we aren't even married. 😢
