Period like cramps?? Are they contractions?

Hi all, lim a FTM im having period like cramps and some pelvic pressure and some weird pains (cant describe how exactly i feel) from few hrs. Are they start of labour contractions? Im due sep 25th

Okay, an update on my cramping led to a loss of my mucus plus tonight. I went into hospital tonight and baby is ready at any point, I need to just wait for contractions to increase.

Me too! I'm due the 24th. I was at the dr yesterday and told her and she didn't seem concerned. I'm only dilated at 1. I love this app because it's reassuring to see people at the same point in pregnancy experiencing the exact same things!

I'm having the same thing plus frequent urge to go to the toilet and diarhea (sorry). I barely slept and it feels weird 🤔

I had this just over two weeks ago all weekend and I was like what???? Needless to say my waters broke on the Sunday night and my daughter was born on 21/8/17! 22 days early but she's a dream!! Xxx

So I just called the hospital and the midwife advised that I take a pain relief medicine because it's probably just pelvic pain

Cramping is normal because your uterus is just a big muscle. It's gotta get ready to push out baby! But also my midwife said anytime baby hits stretches and pushes on my uterus it could cause it to tense up & feel that pain! But if they are consistent I would call !

But the baby is moving more than usual from 2days...not sure what's happening inside 😜 hope the baby is getting ready to come out soon ...fingers crossed 😀😜
