will i be able to have children?!?!

soo, recently i got the IUD, so my boyfriend and i can have unprotected sex w. no worry. i got the Skylar version of the IUD which you keep in for 3 years. i'm 18 now and in 3 i will be 21. i want to have kids in the future, FAR FUTURE.. but i'm wondering will the IUD make it hard or impossible to have children🤦🏽‍♀️ HELP !

I'm on the Mirena right now. I have a 17 month old and would like to get pregnant soon after she turns 2. My OB suggests I do not take my IUD out until I'm certain we're ready because a lot of women are super fertile after taking it out. 2 of my good friends got pregnant within 2 months of taking their IUD out - one had Mirena and the other had the skyla one.

I had the mirena put in I went to take it out because we wanted to try again I never got my period and was diagnosed with PCOS :/ took months to get pregnant again and had to take fertility medicine to help.

They say you can still have children but it takes a lot longer to actually get pregnant
