I'm going to try to make this short but I desperately need advice !! 😫

I came to the hospital around 10am this morning after a very difficult night of no sleep & my first contractions I have experienced. It was what I would describe as a never ending period cramp! Upon getting here they looked at my urine sample & said I was dehydrated. So now I'm hooked up to a bag of fluids. Then the doctor came in & did a cervical exam. I'm only 1cm dilated but I'm 80% effaced. They're waiting 2 hours for my bag of fluid to run through to recheck me. Sounds like they're leaving it up to me if I want to go home & progress from there or if I want to stay here. My instinct is to go home but I clearly couldn't handle the pain there last night! I just don't want to be here for days either. What would you ladies do?? Please keep me in your prayers either way !!
