So the medela double electric is good and served its purpose, but I bought a lansinoh manual hand pump on a whim vefore a road trip with my first and it became my BFF!!!! First off I found I got more milk out of it and secondly i could walk around or bring it on the go and not be chained to an electrical outlet.  I never thought I'd like a hand pump but it was my favorite and I used it constantly.  They are only about $30 so I highly recommend as a backup!!!!!
