Is this normal & should I be worried?

I haven't had my period since January 23-26 2015. This was my very first period also. I'm only 13. Is this normal at my age. Also what are some signs that your period is coming? Please comment. :)

It's completely normal. Some have their first period and then it can take months before the next one. It's just takes the body a little bit of adjusting.

Periods almost always start out irregular, I started having them when I was about 11-12 and it was all over the place, sometimes u can go a month or two without one or end up getting two in the same month. Its just your body getting used to it :) 
You usually know when its coming due to cramps the day before or the day of, maybe more moods swings and emotional stuff as well

It's totally normal to be irregular when you first start. When I first started I went 2 months without a period and then had my period every two weeks for a few months and the doctors said it was normal.

I think it's normal... When I first started I had a period one month & didn't have it for a year. I wasn't sexually active. My doctor just told me that it was because of my weight & not having enough body fat. I also get i signs of when I'm about to start, I just start bleeding.

i got my period in july three years ago, and i didn't get the next one for three months after that. obviously its three years later, and my periods are still irregular, so its perfectly normal. what is not normal is if your period lasts more than 2 weeks and its very heavy. if that would happen in the future, and it happens more than once, please tell your mother or a woman you trust that will get you to a doctor. that just happened to me and i was very close to having to be hospitalized for it. but yes it is normal to not have your period for a few months after you start (:

You may be one of the many women who have irregular periods. Mine have always been irregular, sometimes going several months without one. I have read it is related to PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome), though I have not had any known reproductive problems and have given birth to three healthy children. So, it doesn't seem to be anything to worry about, but it's always a good idea to be aware and keep track of what's going on with your body.
