This is super long so I apologize in advance

This is super long so I apologize in advance. But it's a great story so settle in😌
Three days before I found out I was pregnant one of my girlfriends asked me to be a bridesmaid for her wedding in August. She jokingly asked me and her sister, who she had as her maid of honor, to not get pregnant anytime soon so we would make it to the wedding. I shrugged it off not even thinking how my life would change literally three days later when I found out I was. It's hilarious her sister ended up falling pregnant a few months later as well. So when I told the bride I was expecting her only request was that I make it to the wedding. My due date was September 10th and the wedding was August 19th so I was pretty confident I would make it no problem. Fast-forward to the day of the wedding. Had a marvelous time. Mind you, the wedding was about an hour an a half from home so most of the wedding party got a vacation cabin in Estes Park, CO. Get back to the cabin from the wedding about 11:30-12ish and I'm absolutely exhausted. I hadn't slept great the night before (peeing every hour) and had gotten up at 6 am that morning to help with last minute preparations so all I wanted to do was sleep by the time I got back to the cabin. Laid down and was feeling some tightness in my lower back that I really didn't think was anything other than having to poop. So I got up to use the bathroom and laid back down. At this point I should mention that the maid of honor and I had come home together. Our guys went to the hotel that was hosting the after party so I knew my boyfriend had been drinking. It's a wedding so I didn't care. Until I heard him screaming at the top of his lungs outside at the maid of honors husband. I'm not gunna go into detail about what happened at this point but things got physical between a couple of people and maybe the stress of all of that it what set things into motion but who knows. At this point the pain I'm feeling in my back has intensified and I'm starting to think that maybe it's actually contractions. I was still hoping it was only Braxton Hicks but these pains were consistent and coming back every 5-6 minutes. I told my boyfriend that I had been feeling them for a while and he was a little annoyed that I hadn't texted him sooner to let him know. I didn't realize they were getting stronger because of all the other drama that had happened so up til this point I was trying to ignore it. My boyfriend who is still pretty shit faced is asking me over and over if we need to go to the hospital. All I kept thinking was this isn't happing now. I didn't have my hospital bag, we hadn't even taken our birthing class! But I told him we would just give it a little bit. He couldn't drive, the maid of honor didn't want to leave her son who had been throwing up and her husband was drunk so she didn't want to leave her son with him. I knew we needed to come up with a plan and soon. I stepped into the bathroom again for what I thought was just to pee. Nope. Blood. And a lot of it. It just gushed out of me. I start screaming at my boyfriend and tell him to let the MOH we need to go to the hospital. ASAP. Luckily she was thinking ahead and had already called the local hospital to give them the rundown and it was only ten minutes away. So we pack in and head down and it felt like the longest car ride of my life. We get to the hospital and they start running some tests. We waited for what felt like an eternity. The doctor wasn't even coming into the hospital (because it was 3:30 in the morning) until they had results. I couldn't sleep because contractions were so annoying and hard to ignore and I was starving. The doctor finally comes in to tell me that with high protein levels in my urine and high blood pressure I'm on the mild-moderate pre-eclampsia scale so best call would be to induce and have a baby! Totally not what I thought we were gunna hear but it was amazing knowing my son would be in the world shortly. I asked for an epidural after a couple hours and by 7:51pm my baby boy was here. 4lbs 15 9/10ths ozs and 19in long. I only pushed for an hour! My little mountain man. After a day and a half at Estes Park Medical Center the pediatrician decided to start my son on antibiotics and a phototherapy light for jaundice. By Wednesday, nothing had improved and we realized we needed to move him to a hospital more suited for infants. So he was airlifted, yes AIRLIFTED, to a hospital in Denver and lemme tell you, knowing your first born child is flying in a helicopter while you have to trail behind in a car was hard. I was a mess the entire day. Oh! And my boyfriend had gone home the day before only meaning to get clothes and check on the house and ended up coming down with a 24h  stomach bug so I was dealing with all of this without my rock. Anyways he made it safely to the NICU and I got there shortly after to find my little baby safe and tucked in and warm under his phototherapy. But I had a meltdown as soon as I saw him. I had been away from him for less than two hours but jeez was it emotionally draining. And now I get to tell him he's ridden in a helicopter and mommy and daddy never have. His stay in the NICU was fairly short, 4 days, and we were finally able to bring him home. Best day ever. We've been home a little over a week now and I have never loved anyone more than this little boy. He has my heart, always will. You never truly understand that until you're blessing is in your arms and every feature is simply perfection to you. I wouldn't trade this for the world.
