Doc says No more baby bottle? 🤔

Question

My baby is almost 13 months and today her doctor said they recommend that after the baby turns 1 they drink from a glass or sippy cup. ( drink milk, water, juice ) . Are there any mothers who actually did that for their kid at 1? How did it turn out?

I started on a sippy cup at around 8 months and switched to a 360 at 1 and he loves it! Heres a picture of what i used for both

It was a rough 2 days initially, but easy peasy after that! Good reports from the dentist too because we mostly used the spoutless sippy cups so his teeth line up nicely! Just for laughs though, here's a photo from day 1 of no bottles (the crying had nothing to do with Santa):

We did it at 11 months. It was a pretty easy transition for her. I think the earlier the better.

We went to sippy cups around 11 months because my kiddo wanted to drink out of cups like us.
