No cramps after orgasm 5 weeks?

Is this normal? Can anyone shed some light on this subject please. I'm exactly 5 weeks today and this is my first pregnancy and I seem to be worried and cautious about absolutely everything. The last few times I've had sex and I've had an orgasm and afterwards I've had cramps similar to a period pain (which I've read are normal) today I orgasmed and I didn't cramp at all. Is it normal to not have cramps after orgasming?

You sound lucky. I had cramps on and off since today. Scaring the crap out of me. I always anticipate seeing blood when I go to the bathroom. Sometimes I go just to check. I think you may just be lucky

It's best to not cramp after orgasms.  Not trying to scare you, but later in pregnancy those cramps could turn into labor. The muscles that create the orgasm are the same ones that create contraction. Normal pregnancies you have nothing to worry about, but in cases like mine you'll have preterm labor. I've had to be only pelvic rest for my previous pregnancies due to this. So you are good :)
