Castor Oil??

Question

who has tried Castor Oil? I'm 39 weeks and 3 days I've been loosing my Mucus Plug little by little for three days now my last doctor appointment which was on the 6th I was still 1cm so I'm thinking about trying it but I want to know who has done it and was it successful

Loads of people have mixed reviews on this and to avoid a debate I would google and check Evidence Based Birth. Believe me, this topic has been on this site a few times and it's always led to bitchy comments from women.
Personally, it's totally your choice, I know women who have taken caster oil and it's worked. It does not necessarily cause meconium (the baby may or may not poop regardless of whether you take caster oil or not).
If it wasn't 'safe', women wouldn't have done it for years! X

I tried it and it didn't work for me. But it "cleared me out" so to speak. It wasn't an unpleasant thing, a bit uncomfortable and annoying because nothing came of it. I didn't even have BH contractions. Just 6 bathroom trips to show for it lol. 
If you want to give it a go, make sure to take it in a few small doses. I took 1 tablespoon in the morning and then 4 hours later I took 1.5 tablespoons mixed with orange juice. Make sure you don't have plans for the day in case you have to be stuck in the bathroom. Especially if you get nauseas.

Walamrt has a tasteless and ordoless one , drink it with juice & use it every 3 hours to make it work . 2tps . Make sure you drink water !!

Doesn't work just makes for violent poo! I was desperate my first pregnancy and wasted a lot of time doing so.
