am I getting close?

Okay so I went to my doc visit yesterday and I'm 36 weeks tomorrow. Baby is head down, my cervix is about halfway thinned, and I'm dilated to about a 1 1/2 he said. But baby is still sitting high. On a side note I'm having aches and pains everywhere,(my side having a bad throbbing pain) hard to breathe, and I feel exhausted, and I can barely stand long enough to cook a meal, if I don't have to sit throughout that time. So just for fun/out of curiosity.. How long do you ladies think I have left before I go into labor? Official due date is Oct. 7th

Probably honestly at least til oct 7. What your cervix is doing is not indicative of when you'll go into labor. I was 70-80% effaced for weeks and weeks and about 1-1.5 cm for the same and I was induced a day before my due date with my daughter. Babies come when they come. They don't care how we feel the rude little things.

I have an appointment on the 12th and im hoping my girl flipped! Im stressing about her being breech! She moves and flips so much. I was in the hospital and had two ultrasounds in one day, the first one she was head down and the second one about 3 hours later she was breech! My dr couldnt believe it!😭 im due 10/13 and im anxiously awaiting some positive signs!

Update: some up feeling nauseated and bad pains in stomach to the point of tears. Came to the hospital, that hooked me up to the machines and I'm slowing 1 to 2 'contractions' every ten minutes. They aren't quite sure if that's what I'm feeling since it's more like menstrual cramps to me. Checked my cervix and I'm up to 80% thinned now from the 50% 2 days ago. Talking to the doctor on call about what's to go from here.

I'm due the 6th and I've been 5cm with prodromal labor for almost 3 weeks!!! I was thinking he'd for sure be early, but now I'm not so sure. I was 1.5cm with my first for 2 months. You never know. He's been super low this whole time too. At this point, I don't trust anything as a sign except my water breaking.

I think your baby still has some dropping to do since you are having trouble breathing. I was told on Tuesday that I am 70% effaced and starting to dilate as well. Due 10/3 and doctor said this is good indication I probably won't go passed my due date. I know many women who stay at 2cm dilated for weeks and others who went into labor within a week. So, I am anxious to get checked again this Monday to see if there has been any change! Here's hoping baby comes in a couple weeks!

2 days after this post I woke up at about 11am having menstrual like cramping, so bad I was in tears, so we came to the hospital, they checked me and said I was up to a 3, and up to 80% thinned. They said they were keeping me to watch for an hour or so and see where it went from there. The pains started to die down but I was still dilating. So they kept me til 6pm to see if I needed to stay. The pains weren't as bad still but switched more towards contractions, I barely felt them but was dialated up to a 5 by 6 so they admitted me for the night. Over the next 2 hours, they got worse and I dialated up to a 7, so the doctor on call came in and checked me out himself and decided to break my water to help move things faster. I dialated to a 9 by about 9:50. About. 5 minutes later I was holding baby in and they rushed in to go into labor cause I was past. 10 doctor said. And my little boy was born at 10:03pm.
