4 months on Lo Loestrin Fe

I started taking Lo Loestrin Fe May 1st and my periods have been irregular since then. I have lots of spotting every month at random times and relatively short periods that don't correspond with my pills. I recently got my period early, which started as spotting then was heavy bleeding and clots in the morning for 3-4 days and now I have watery brown discharge, making my period almost 2 weeks long. I also have had a terrible migraine that lasted for 4 days last month. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a little over a month ago, but we have both been tested before. I have an appointment on Monday and am hoping it is just the birth control not being right for me and nothing more serious. Anyone else have problems like this?
