Sleeping with make up on

The first time I sleep round my boyfriends house I don't want to take all my make up off as I'm kinda insecure about how I look without it. I know eventually I'll have to take all of it off, but the first few times I'd be more comfortable keeping little bits on such as mascara and eyebrows.

Has anyone else been in this situation before? As I don't want to feel like the only one who has this problem. Also are there any tips on stopping mascara from smudging? As I don't want to wake up looking like a panda.
