Gender disappointment

Is real. I have a 4yo son, and a daughter who died at 8.5mo after a short life of fighting a horrible condition. If there is anyone who should be able to say "all that matters is a healthy baby" it's me. I had begged so hard for a girl and when I got her all i was able to do was watch her suffer and realize sex doesn't matter. Well now I'm on number 3. And my baby is HEALTHY and I'm OVERJOYED by that,  I could cry right now with gratitude. But! It's a boy. And there is a small part of me that still hurts, that still wants a healthy girl. I'll get over it. My son is so happy to have a baby brother and that helps! I really just want moms to know its ok to be a little sad over sex, it doesn't mean anything about you. If it goes beyond a little sad, you should see someone and talk it out. Congrats mommas!
