we are in coral springs Florida.  not evacuating. my parents are in Hallandale beach....not evacuating  (against all my pleading that they should)...

Us Floridians are SO stubborn when it comes to hurricanes. But if I hear a cat 4 or 5 is coming directly towards us, you know damn well we will be high tailing it outta there. Maybe have more relatives/friends talk them out of it? It's starting to become too late to move.. the highways are getting way backed up and the wind is starting to pick up.. rain to follow soon enough. Hoping they stay safe wherever they choose to stay 😓😓

yes! I'm in spring hill, next to brooksville, and we are not leaving. We have a 5 year old and I am 38 weeks pregnant. We live in a strong house and are prepared so hopefully we are good! however, if they live in a mobile home, like my dad in brooksville, they have been mandatory evacuated.
