Terrified of daycare

So, my baby is almost 8 weeks old and I have to return to work October 10. I know that is a ways away but I'm terrified of sending him to a daycare. He's my 6th and last baby and I'm feeling super emotional about this. I have to work though. I have no experience with daycare, none of my older kids ever had to go because I was a SAHM with them and the only people to ever watch them were immediate family members.

My boyfriend thinks daycare is so great but IDK how he can gather that as this is his first child.

I guess I'm looking for some comfort from others who have gone thru this same thing.
