Lost interest?

So this guy and I started talking and we liked each other a lot. But when we actually started dating I just, lost interest? Help?? He's rushing into everything and I'm not comfortable. He's also very clingy and doesn't give me any space. And he's my cousin's best friend who I also hang out with a lot. But I appreciate our friendship. I just don't think dating a friend is right? Has anyone just lost interest when they started dating?

Natural, sometimes you rush into things and you regret it when you get to know them. Sometimes it just happens! Its nobody's fault, but break up with them before you hurt either him or you.

Yes, about a week after we started dating I lost interest but we fixed it for a little while and then I lost interest again and then we fixed it for a few years and I couldn't take the uncertainty in me (shamefully after almost 6 years of dating) that this was or was not the person I was supposed to be with. I ended it but it did not end well. Overall, I learned that if it's not right, then your gut tells you that and if you don't follow your instincts, it hurts a lot more in the end if you try to make it work when it just doesn't rather than accepting it and learning from it.
