Over night bag??

Question

I'm 28 weeks pregnant as of today. When is a good time to get the hospital bag ready? And what do you pack for baby and mommy? Sorry ftm here :)

Answer

You can pack it as soon as you want but I would try to have it ready to go no later than about 34 weeks. That's probably a bit early for some people but I'd much rather be over prepared than running around like crazy lol! For me when I had my son I over packed...this time I'm packing a few sleepers, socks, swaddle blanket, and car seat. I don't do the whole going home outfit only because I'd much rather baby be comfy. As far as my bag...ponytails, brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, nonslip socks or slippers, 2 pair of comfy pants, a few comfy shirts easy to nurse in, underwear, bra, phone and charger, quarters for vending machine, hard candy, snacks, and a comfy outfit to go home in. Oh! And I'm definitely bringing my own towel and pillow this time! Possibly my own toilet paper!!!! I hope this helps
