Today while going outside with my dog I found an injured bird flopping around on the ground. After a few failed attempts I finally got it into a box and away from predators (mostly my dog). I spent a good 30-40 minutes calling random pet hospitals, animal rescue centers and even pet control to see if anyone could help this poor bird. They either couldn't accept wild life or I was told if I thought he was suffering I could take him in to be euthanized (nope). FINALLY while talking to someone almost as the verge of tears bc I'm a sensitive bitch, she gives me a number to a safe haven for birds. So my day was spent driving 2 hours to bring this little guy to be treated and hopefully released (:
