The realisation!!!

Today while I was putting my daughter to sleep and surfing net, I came across an article about a teenage girl who was abducted... and I was thinking how unsafe the world has become and how I would protect my baby girl from all these pervs ... and you know what dawned on me...

a regret... for everytime I fought with my parents as a teenager, when they were just looking out for me, for when they wouldn't let me have a sleepover at a friends whose family they didn't know personally, when they wouldn't let me party late into nights, when they would get all worked up when I would break my curfew... so many times, I have fought with them, told them they were being unreasonable and it's my life... how they were just being my parents and trying to protect me...

I guess u realise it only when u become a parent
