I got my nexplanon implant in March of 2016. I went a long time with no periods and now -august/sept- I got two within a 3 weeks time. I know this is normal as for the implant is different to everyone's periods. My boyfriend made me think and a little unsure if these new periods could change any rate of myself getting pregnant. He was skeptical if we should start using condoms now to be more careful because I'm getting periods now. I never thought of it because I was without periods for so long... which was so enjoyable. Almost forgot what periods were!😭 I'm not going crazy right lol, by getting these periods it won't change any effectiveness of my birth control we can still have unprotected sex
