Sweep...tmi HELP

So I had a sweep yesterday at 3pm and had a bit bloody show straight after (on midwife fingers) sweep and brownish discharge since then up until about 5pm today. Well now it's stopped the discharge and now

nothing else and no pains or anything just a bit of back ache earlier on in day.

Should I take it that it hasn't worked?? I haven't had the blob of mucus gooey stuff I got With my eldest when I had a sweep with her and started to get contractions about 35 hours after that sweep.
