First Infertility Appt. What should I expect?

We've been trying for 2.5 years. We've been tracking and using opks off and on, but consistently for the last 3 cycles and still BFNs. I made an appointment at my ob/gyn for a check up next month (yearly and pap smear) but they said they will also go ahead and do a infertility check and start that process. I know they will start with the pap and then blood work, But what else should i expect? what are the typical "steps" they take before suggesting iui/IVF? What was your experience and how many visits/tests should I be expecting?

I am 26 and have been trying for 2 years, we've gone through 3 miscarriages (just to give you some background) 
I had 10 different blood draws for multiple different things, my husband also gave blood to test chromosomes, then we did a saline test where they do an ultrasound while pushing saltwater solution into your uterus, after that I ended up doing surgery called hysteroscopy to clean my uterus and remove a polyp. my surgery was June 2nd and we were allowed to start trying again beginning of July, nothing yet but soon hopefully.

A ONGYN can only test so far until you would need to see a Fertility Specialist. An OB will probably do progesterone blood work. A seman analysis. That's what mine did. Then I felt like I was wasting time and saw a FS

I have jus been referred and had my 1st appointment they took both my blood and husbands blood, we av been tryin 4 a year n ad 3 miscarriages so mine might b slightly different coz they av also sent my bloods 4 clotting, i then av 2 go 4 an internal scan 2 check my womb n go bak in 3 months
