I'll start this by admitting I'm not great with putting makeup on. My mom never loved wearing it, I have no sisters and a good most of my friends are tomboys... So I don't have any real life help on this subject.

When I do my eye makeup, i prefer to do the smoky eye, but once I get it on and it looks nice an hour later all the dark eye shadow will have smeared around And coat the entire eye lid instead of staying to the edges (and no I don't rub my eyes). how the heck do I stop it from doing that? I've used a primer for my eye lids and it didn't stop the issue. Is there a way to set it that I don't know about?

Edit to add, I use eye lid primer. When I use it, it seems to make the spreading problem worse. Yet I still use it because the eye shadow colors don't look right with out it. I also use Clinique products (I have sensitive skin and it's the only brand I've found that doesn't bother my skin)
