First time using bc and two periods in one month?

So I just started on the pill 2 weeks ago when I started my previous period, so I've been taking it, I miss one pill one day (because I'm not used to the routine) but I doubled up the next day like I'm supposed to do. And now I started my period again. Is this normal? I'm usually extremely regular

This is normal. You just started the pill, your body is trying to adjust to the new hormones in you. You may not be extremely regular anymore because the hormones will probably change that.
