evening primrose.. how?

I understand taking it orally and how tp insert it but im wondering now how many to start with? the bottle I bought said take one gel three times a day with meals. which is self explanatory but vaginally how do you know how many to insert? what did you ladies do?

My doc said 2 at bedtime so that's what I did.

My midwife has me doing 2 orally & 2 vaginally every night.

I inserted 2 vaginally every night for about a week then I stopped using them cause I didn't think it was working, Went into labor that next week

I did 4 vaginally for about to weeks and had my daughter 9 days early. Is this your first or second baby??? I wanna use it for my second, but my midwife thinks it won't work the same as my first. Good luck.
