Husband trying to tell me to TTC baby #3

So for starters we have two beautiful girls ages 6 and 1, and we both really want a boy. The other day I was at a store and I saw little football slippers, I melted. I took a picture and sent it to my husband saying I need a boy. He responds back with if were weren't having a big expense this month he would agree.

Not that we are trying at all and I am currently on birth control BUT I have symptoms of being pregnant, nauseous and boobs are seriously sore. I mentioned it to my husband he says I should take a test. But he seemed very upset, I just feel like he keeps hinting to try but then says not now?

Anyone else can relate?
