My future in laws are a decade older than my parents and it never ceases to amaze me how EVERY visit ends with a minimum of 30-45 minutes of my SO setting up emails and downloading applications 😩😂 Anybody else know this struggle?

(this turns into a bit of a rant/venting)

I love my future in laws and I'm thrilled to become a part of the family they've created, but my fiancé is already running the family business (filling multiple vital roles in the company) while his dad (who likes excitement/challenge in the business) throws endless new projects his way. Nowadays it seems like we cant come over for dinner without it turning into an extensive discussion about business followed by an hour of these other errands for them. I'm trying to learn to respectfully but firmly say I'd rather save the business talk for business meetings, but that can be harder than it seems when you love the people who are driving you crazy 😩 And it's hard to bring any of this up to my fiancé because it just leaves him feeling stressed out and trapped in the situation or like I'm angry with his parents when I'm not.
