I'm 17 now, but when i was 16 I dated an 18 year old and it was just fine. A lot of people claim that it's illegal, but the being in a relationship part isn't illegal, it's the sexual relations. Dating someone older can be great, you just need to be extremely careful if you were to ever bring sex, or anything related, intok the equation. My relationship was great and everything was fine, we just didn't work out. So I say go for it.

It isn't a big difference but you need to have permission from your parents or it is illegal.

It's not a far apart age but supposedly where I live the law says it's a bit "illegal" for an 18 year or above go date someone younger than 18 🤷‍♀️ but I don't think you shoiod worry about that
