Clotting during period??

I've had normal clotting of blood during a period but yesterday I had a large-ish light pink clot that looked like a clump of tissue. I've never seen this before and wondering if it's normal or possible miscarriage? Cyst? My period was later than normal but I've always been irregular. I also found out I had a uterine cyst recently. Not sure if I should be worried or not. No severe pain beyond the usual cramping. Thoughts??
