stomach bug or migraine?

my little girl is 8 years old and had a really bad headache earlier she said her eyes hurt and the light was too bright. i gave her some medicine and she lied down for an hour or so then said her tummy hurt and ended up having diarrhea. she said her headache is gone now and her tummy feels mostly better but a little sore.

make sure she's getting enough fluids. whatever it is/was she's probably a bit dehydrated. did she take the medicine on an empty stomach because that could have made her sick on top of a migraine.

It sounds like a migraine. maybe her stomach reacted bad to what you gave her depending on the medicine(like needing to eat before taking it so it doesn't upset the stomach). But if that's not the case I do know because i have migraines that it can affect you whole body if it's a bad one I've felt stomach aches and nauseous with my migraines and the only way to calm down is be in a pitch black room no sound and try to sleep. for me sleeping is the only way to get rid of my migraines with medication. But you may want to have her checked by a Dr so of she is having them she can have the medication to treat it.
