So I've been feeling confused this whole week. My boyfriend of almost four years has told me he loves me less recently. I'll explain. So a few years ago while we dated I was talking to my ex without telling him. I know it sounds bad because I hid it but nothing else happened. We talked and he had a girlfriend. So he got angry all the time and has been like this for years. He said he forgave me but it shows he never did. He then started controlling me: telling me how to dress, not wear make up, don't talk to my guy friends, etc. I thought I was in a good relationship this whole time but now my eyes have finally opened seeing that this whole thing may be abusive. Even when we fight he tells me things like whore, slut, cunt and loser but then afterwards he would say he doesn't mean it But it's like that all the time and I get confused when that happens. But the recent fight was about the past and he said my love for you has gone down and after he calmed down he did admit it but then he said it will grow again but I don't think it will. I just don't know what to do anymore...I've never felt more depressed in my life.
