Sleep Paralysis while pregnant???

Question

Has anyone experienced sleep paralysis during their pregnancy? I'm only 9 weeks and I've been really struggling getting sleep. Last night I experienced my second time with sleep paralysis. I couldn't move, breathe properly and I couldn't speak. I was wide awake trying to get my husbands help and couldn't even get a word out. It only lasted for a minute or so, but absolutely terrifying. The pressure I felt on my upper body was just strange.

Oh yeah! Pregnant and not pregnant. It's one of the worst experiences...I just try to close my eyes and dream something else!

I had it once when I was two months pregnant. I'm now 5 and a half months, luckily it hasn't happened again!

I've suffered from it since I was a teenager. Sometimes if I change position, especially how my neck is aligned when I go to sleep it can really help decrease the instances of it happening. That's what has helped me anyways. Yes it is a very scary experience. Mention it to your doc and see if they have any insight into why youreexperiencing it

Yes. I have panic attacks in my dreams and they turn into it.
