what would you think if the person you live in the house with only spoke to your baby but you're always with the baby... when coming home from somewhere, when waking up in the mornings, when going to bed at nights the person only greets the baby... would you be okay with it or feel offended or disrespected in some way?

I think I'd be bothered by it. If you're sitting next to your baby and this person repeatedly walks up and acts like you don't exist, that's kind of weird? because it's like they're going out of their way to not say anything to you. Is this a roommate or family member? I guess it'd matter more if you cared about this person or not

My MIL isn't speaking to me and she constantly sends messages to my baby and voice recordings and it's honestly weird.

That happens to me all the time with my youngest BIL he says hi to my husband, son and daughter but not me, it used to bother me a lot, but I don't care anymore. My new SIL only talks to my husband, even if I'm there, again this used to bother me a lot but I'm getting over this.

I would be offended.  
When I was pregnant, my MIL would always greet me only with, "How's baby doing?"  Ummm...woman, I am more than in incubator.  
That being said, I think if I said something she would have apologized and stopped doing it.
