We had our first baby girl, Maya Jeanne, at ages 19 and 20, unplanned, but the best thing that ever happened to us. At age 22, we bought our house and became pregnant with our first BOY, Oliver Kane. Due 10/6/2016. We were so happy.. I was so prepared for him since we didn't have much for our first babe. We lost him suddenly at 33 weeks gestation due to a restricted cord. The best year turned into the worst. We were broken at such a young age.. if we didn't have Maya, I don't think I could have kept going. 5 months later, still fresh in our grief, we decided we would try for our rainbow baby. We became pregnant right away, the due date just 3 days before our son's due date. We found out it's a GIRL. I'm now 37 weeks along, and it has been the hardest and longest pregnancy. I have trouble buying things, and still haven't packed our hospital bags.. but I'm holding onto the tiniest thread of hope that she will make it. I've had a lot of anxiety choosing her name. From early on, we liked Eden Violet. Eden is just simply beautiful, and if you mix up the letters in Violet, it spells Olive.. in memory of Oliver. AND it's also the last color in the rainbow, and she's our rainbow baby.
