When do you turn your kids carseat to face forward

If you have children of course. tell me when you turned them forward facing. My daughter is 15 months old and based on all the reading ive done its safer for them to be rear facing as long as they possibly can. I dont intend on turning her forward as shes super content being rear facing. but my "in laws" tell me I need to face her forward and that they do when she rides with them in their car (😒😡)

it's incredibly dangerous to forward face before they're two at the very, very, very earliest.

I will keep my son rear facing until he's minimum of 3 years old. His convertible car seat can stay reversed until 50lbs.  More and more studies show the longer they rear face the better.

My daughter is front facing since she turned 13 months I believe it was.

Never forward face until 40lbs or 40in tall. It's not safe, my father is a firefighter and has gone on many calls where babies die because people choose to forward face way too soon.

Rear facing as long as possible within the limits of their seat.

Once she reaches the 40lb weight limit, we'll turn her. It's safest to have them rear facing until about 4, because their spine can't take a forward facing crash until about then, but my daughter's 30 lbs and 14 months, so I doubt we'll make it until then if she keeps growing the way she is!

At the very least 2. My youngest will be 2 next month. She's still very content being rear facing so I'm not sure I'll turn her around.

Not until they are 2 atleast! If they out grow the seat before then I would get a new one. It's not worth the risk
