People against abortions

Is it just me that thinks the 'take responsibility for your actions and raise the baby' phrase is utter bullshit? I honestly can't be, because it's so wrong. You're telling someone, who is likely underage, that because they had sex, because they decided to share something special with someone they love or just to have some fun, that they now need to bring a baby, a human life into this world and throw away the remaining years of their childhood, teenage years or young adult life, because they wanted to feel pleasure, be happy and have fun? Quite honestly I think that's the cruelest thing you could say to someone who's unsure about whether or not to keep a child. When someone asks you that sort of question, you don't try and make them feel guilty for 'killing a baby' or rub the fact that YOU kept YOUR baby in their face, because they don't need the extra stress and worry, they don't need to be told what someone else did. They need to figure out what to do themselves and if you tell them to basically sort it out on their own and 'take responsibility' because they had SEX, that's no help at all to them. All it does is worsens their situation. You just need to tell them to make their own choice, maybe say what you would do, or have done, and give reasons for your specific situation and try to help them think about they finances and education.
