Thought my water broke

Ok so I'm really not dramatic. Due sept 15th. I was napping yesterday.. woke up and walked to my back door. I was about to go outside because that's where my SO was doing hurricane prep and stuff. I reach for the handle and feel a gush of water. So I open the door and I'm like omg come here I need you to look at something. So he comes inside and I tell him I think my water broke. He looked and agreed it was super wet. We debated going to the hospital, called both our moms and his sister and they all said go it sounds like the water broke. So we're like ok I guess better to be safe than sorry. Plus this wasn't just a little gush it was a pretty good amount of liquid. I got really nervous all the crap talk about "you can come out now" and when the moment was here I was just scared. Anyways we get to the hospital, I change, she tests me, we wait.... negative. Now I know I didn't pee myself and the water did not smell like pee...... I'm like Wtf but relieved to sleep in my bed another night. The nurse was like "when it happens you'll know"..... well that's funny I'm here because I really thought I knew lol
