I just had the nexplanon implant put in last Thursday September 7th and I'm wondering if it could affect my body when it comes to sex.

My boyfriend and I tried having sex a few times over the past couple days and it just isn't working. Even though my mind is totally into it, my body is not. Any time we try to have sex my body is just not getting aroused. He is such a trooper and has tried a ton of things to get me wet and nothing works even if I think it's amazing. It also hurts really badly when he enters me even if we use lube. My vagina will not stretch to accommodate.

Someone told me that maybe the implant is affecting my body while I get used to the hormones but I'm not sure if it's that or I'm dehydrated or something else.

Sorry that was long but I can't figure out why this is happening when we have had no trouble in the past.
